LAHORE: The West Pakistan Governor, Mr Mohammad Musa, today [May 13] said the Government would order an inquiry into the leakage of examination papers of the Lahore Secondary Board, it found necessary. The Governor said he would ask for details on the Question from the Education Department and take necessary action against those who were found responsible for the leakage.

It may be added that the report about leakage of three papers of the Intermediate Examination of the Board has already been confirmed and it is apprehended that the remaining papers have also been leaked.

The Governor, who returned from Karachi after a day’s visit, was talking to newsmen at the airport. He was received by the Central Food Minister, Mr A.H.M.S. Doha, who was on his way to Rawalpindi from Dacca, and senior Government officials.

When the Governor’s attention was drawn to the spiral in sugar prices, which was selling at Rs 2.50 per seer, he said the position was expected to ease with the arrival of sugar from abroad.
