LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has named Chaudhry Mohammad Riaz as the Chief Election Commissioner to conduct the forthcoming elections of the District Hockey Associations, followed by the polls of the Provincial Hockey Associations and finally that of the PHF by May 15.

The Chief Election Commissioner has further announced the names of Election Commissioners and Members/Coordinators of Election Commission of the four provinces, Islamabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).

According to the PHF, the scrutiny, elections and composition of district hockey associations will be completed by May 3.

The elections at the provincial level will be completed by May 10 and of the PHF itself by May 15.

Following are the names of the provincial election commissioner with their members:

Punjab: Khadim Hussain Bhatti (election commissioner). Members:Wajid Bukhari, Col (retired) Sikander Ghumman, Malik Usman Awan, Khalid Qayyum.

Sindh: Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, (election commissioner); Members: Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah. Members; Brig (retired) Khalid Mukhtar Farani.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Major (retired) Mohammad Afzal (election commissioner); Member: Olympian Dr Atif Bashir.

Balochistan: Chaudhry Farman (election commissioner); Members: Ihsanullah.

Islamabad: Lt Col (retired) Mohammad Naeem (election commissioner); Member: Dilawar Hussain.

Gilgat-Baltistan: Tariq Mir (election commissioner); Member: Atif Shamsher.

Fata: Mohammad Riasat (election commissioner); Member: Mohammad Khurram Malik.

Azad Jammu Kashmir: Zahoor Janjua (election commissioner); Member: Chaudhry Munawar Hussain.
