LAHORE: The Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) will install 300 more ‘call boxes’ at various major roads of the provincial capital to register complaints against street crime.

The decision in this regard was made on the positive results of some previously installed call boxes on the city’s roads.

An official of the PSCA said the call boxes would be installed to facilitate the citizens without mobile phones to call the police on its helpline 15 to lodge their complaints.

He said the citizens would be able to call the police by pressing the button available at the call boxes to report any street crime.
