TAXILA: Three of a family died when a truck they were traveling in collided with a stationary trailer on Kohat-Pindi road in Basal police area.

Ghulam Mustafa was going to Kohat by the truck along with his family. When they reached near Tahli Adda, their truck collided with a trailer parked on the road side.

As a result Ghulam Mustafa, his eight-year-old son Shabbir Ahmad and his 10-year-old daughter Amna Zuhra died on the spot while Muqadas Fatima wife of Ghulam Mustafa and driver Tariq received serious injuries.

The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

In another accident, a van hit a motorcycle near Mangial on Rawalpindi Road, killing both driver and pillion rider on the spot.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
