HARIPUR, May 21: A boy drowned in Tarbela Lake near Khalabat Township here on Friday evening, police said. His body was recovered by local divers after two hours struggle. Khalabat Township KTS police said that Sami Ullah Khan, 23, was taking bath in the lake along with his friends when he was swept into deep waters where he drowned.

Meanwhile an old feud claimed life of a young man in village Khidoo, some 6 km in the jurisdiction of Kotnajibullah police station here on Friday.

Police said that Zahid Ahmad was threshing wheat near his house when three persons shot him dead with Klashinkovs. The family nominated Iqbal, Jamshed and Abid, reportedly proclaimed offenders in a triple murder case, in the FIR.

According to police, both the families are close relative to each other and had been engaged in clash over a piece of land. The feud has claimed over six lives from both sides during the last two years.
