KARACHI: The local price of one-tola and 10-gram gold rate hit Rs60,000 and Rs51,428, up by 450 and Rs386 on Wednesday.

World gold prices, quoted by All Sindh Sarafa Asso­ciation (ASSA), went up by $6 to reach $1,349 per ounce.

From January 1 till to date, the one tola price has surged by Rs3,800 and 10-gram by Rs3,256 while global bullion rate jumped by $45 per ounce, ASSA said.
