Army Public School opens in Parachinar

PARACHINAR: A newly-constructed Army Public School opened in Parachinar here on Monday.

It is to mention here that the army schools in Parachinar and Doger in Central Kurram were announced by Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa during his visit to the agency.

The APS Parachinar building has been constructed in five months period and today (Monday) regular classes commenced at the campus.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Brig Akhter Alam of Seven Brigade said the school and college was an educational complex where modern boarding houses were being constructed.

He said highly qualified faculty had been hired for the school capable of producing role models for the nation. He emphasised the role of parents to keep their children away from cheating.

On the first day of school, the newly-admitted students, Awais and Ali Murtaza, said they felt immense pleasure for being the pioneer batch of the APS.

The students and their parents lauded the COAS Bajwa for giving such a precious gift to them.
