TIMERGARA: The people of Adenzai on Wednesday complained that the digital X-ray machine of the tehsil headquarters hospital, Chakdara, had been out of order and patients had to visit private laboratories for tests.

Talking to mediapersons, QWP district president Aman Khan, Abdul Rehman Khan, Syed Ali Shah and others said that patients suffered badly due to faulty digital X-ray machine at the THQ hospital. They said that MPA Bakht Baidar had too informed the district health officer about the machine, but to no avail.

The residents said that patients were being forced to get X-ray tests done from private laboratories that charged them high. They also complained that the hospital lacked medicines for emergency patients, especially at night. The power generator, they said, was also not working properly. The residents asked the health department to take notice of the situation and resolve the problems without delay.

ANP RALLY: Awami National Party, Lower Dir, president Hussain Shah Yousafzai said on Wednesday that all arrangements had been finalised for holding a public meeting in Timergara on April 5, which would be addressed by party chief Asfandyar Wali Khan, former chief minister Ameer Haidar Hoti and other leaders.

He was speaking at a press conference at Timergara Press Club. He said that the party had started preparations for the next general election and in this regard workers’ conventions had been held at Talash, Ouch, Maidan and Gosum. He claimed that people of Dir were fed up with the policies of PTI and JI as they had done nothing for their welfare.
