RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the operation area of Pano Akil division of Pakistan Army on the eastern border on Saturday.

He was briefed on operational preparedness of the formation.

Gen Bajwa appreciated the operational readiness and high morale of the troops, said a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Earlier, the army chief visited Salehpat to witness the All Pakistan Mehran Shooting Championship as chief guest.

The Pakistan Army won the four-day championship.
