SWABI: Two brothers were shot dead by rivals when they were on way home in Gandaf village from Topi Bazaar here on Monday, said police.

The incident occurred in jurisdiction of Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate police station. The bodies were brought to Topi Civil Hospital for postmortem.

A police official told this scribe that Sajjad Hussain and Imtiaz Hussain had come to Topi Bazaar for buying food items. However, they were shot dead by their rivals as soon as they entered Gandaf village. The cause of the incident was stated to be an old enmity.

The mother of the deceased registered an FIR in Gadoon police station against two brothers Waqar Khan and Muntazir Khan.
