‘The zero man’

Published February 21, 2018

THIS refers to the column ‘The zero man’ (Feb 18) by Cyril Almeida. I am not an ardent fan of PTI chairman Imran Khan, but the column has disappointed me.

It is only due to Mr Khan’s efforts that the accountability of the corrupt elite has been taken up seriously. The steps taken by Mr Khan include the depoliticisation of the police. It is for the first time in Pakistan’s history that ministers of the ruling party have been fired for corruption. charges. Mr Khan is a hero, not a zero.
