KARACHI: A sparkling all-round performance from Hurair Shahid enabled Cedar College whip the Lyceum School by a massive margin of 117 runs in their fifth Bilal Bhaty Inter-school/collegiate T20 Cricket Tournament fixture at the Al Nadi Al Burhani Ground here the other day.

Hurair bludgeoned a quickfire 91 from 51 deliveries with the aid of 11 fours and two sixes as Cedar College posted 193 all out. Skipper Osama Ijaz struck a 32-ball 53 with four boundaries while opening the innings.

The Lyceum School, in reply, were all out for 76 in 14.4 overs as man-of-the-match Hurair claimed three wickets for just one runs in 2.4 overs, including two maiden. Seamer Hamza Alam took three wickets for as many many runs in two overs and off-spinner Sameed Saleem 2-6 in three overs.
