KARACHI: Bounce Club and Neighbourhood Club went through to the semi-finals of the Kashmir Day basketball tournament at the Arambagh floodlit court the other day.

Bounce Club carved out 39-21 victory over Neighbourhood Club in their last fixture that decided the top two slots from Group ‘A’.

Saifullah eight, Atif six and Mohsin five were the main scorers for winners in the lacklusture low-scoring match.

Raja Zahid and Hammad scored seven and five respectively for the losers.

In another match, Nishtar Club sent Askari Alphas packing 49-37 after leading 29-17 at halftime.

Talha Amjad, as usual, top scored with 21 and was ably assisted by Ali Chanzeb and Asad with nine apiece for winners.

M. Samie was the principal scorer for losers with 16 and was followed by Adnan nine.
