BATTAGRAM: Six people were killed when a pickup truck of a private mobile phone company skidded off the road and fell into a ravine here on Sunday.

According to Banna police station, the truck was bringing fuel for the company’s booster when it fell into the ravine in Kandaow area of Allai. As a result, five people were killed on the spot, while one was injured.

The locals and police rushed to the spot soon after the accident and retrieved the bodies and the injured man from the ravine. The injured also died while being taken to the Banna hospital.

The victims were identified as Fakhruddin, Aamir, Mian Jan, Ashfaq, Saleemullah and Abdul Manan.
