Mian Meraj laid to rest

LAHORE, May 8: Veteran PML leader Mian Meraj Din, who passed away after a protracted illness on Saturday, was laid to rest on Sunday in the presence of a large number of mourners. Information Minister Sheikh Rashid, former president Rafiq Tarar, Punjab PML Secretary-General Zaheeruddin, Mian Amer, Mian Azhar, Khwaja Hassaan, Khwaja Riaz Mahmood, Justice Javed Iqbal (retired), many of his relatives, friends, political colleagues and social workers attended the funeral prayers.
