KARACHI: Teams of top educational institutions of the city are set to compete in the inaugural retired Brig Rashid Ali Malik Inter-school (A-Levels) boys and girls basketball championships being played at the Arambagh court from Jan 28, organisers announced on Tuesday.

Both the events will run concurrently and the boys and girls matches will be played on alternate days.

The event, that will be an annual feature, is being organised by Nasir Basketball Academy to pay homage to the deceased who was president of the Pakistan Basketball Federation, Sindh Basketball Association, Sindh Olympic Association and also vice-president of the Pakistan Olympic Association.

The draws of the competitions will be taken out at the venue on Jan 25 at 5pm.
