This rainbow hot chocolate is so sweet and creamy that you can’t help but smile when drinking it! Containing white chocolate, cream and lots of sprinkles, this hot chocolate is for those who are looking for a warm drink that isn’t all dark with a strong cocoa taste.

And since we are going to be doing a bit of cooking, you need to ask your mum to do that part for you, while you can beat the cream and use it to decorate the drink in any way you please. This recipe is enough for two servings.

Instructions

Place fresh cream in a bowl and beat it with an egg beater until it is light and fluffy.

Heat the milk on low to medium heat and add white chocolate. Stir to dissolve and add vanilla essence. Add pink or red food colour. I had red food colour so I just used very little of it on the tip of a teaspoon and it was enough to give it a pink colour. When the chocolate if fully dissolved and the milk has simmered for a minute, pour into cups.

Put about two tablespoons of cream on top, you can add more if you like, and top with sprinkles. You can use any other topping and skip the cream – drink it whichever way you want!
