Pakistan outplay Malaysia at Asian Netball

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakistan team continued their winning spree in style here when they outpla­yed defending champions Malaysia 62-46 to gain four more points at the Asian Netball Championship on Friday.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Akhtar, Usman Bashir, Abid Ali, Mohammad Khursheed, Naseeb Raza, Masoom Abbass, Haris Kamal, Zahid Iqbal, Mohammad Rizwan and Samad Masood displayed outstanding scoring skills to stun the hosts in a gripping contest.

The unbeaten Pakistan side now have 16 points and are at the top of the table.

On Saturday, Pakistan will be facing Singapore in the semi-final.
