KARACHI: A superlative unbeaten century by opener Mohsin Ali guided Super Gymkhana to a crushing seven-wicket victory over Union Sports in the KCCA Zone-IV Abdul Rauf Malik Cricket Tournament at the Pak Star Ground here on Friday.

After dismissing Union Sports for 193 in 39.2 overs, Super Gymkhana raced to 198-3 in just 23.3 overs.

Mohsin led the onslaught with a belligerent knock of 107 from just 60 deliveries and ended the game with his sixth six of the innings after also having hit eight boundaries.

Mohammad Shahid, who had earlier claimed two wickets, struck 44 with four fours and a brace of sixes.

Meanwhile, Azeempura Gymkhana defeated Steel Town Gymkhana by seven wickets in another match played on Thursday.
