Who doesn’t want a night’s sleep?
People with insomnia will be delighted to know that there is a miracle spray that can make them go to sleep instantly.
A new body spray that has been released by cosmetics retailer Lush, have added the “Twilight” spray to their popular Sleepy range. It’s intended to have a relaxing effect on the wearer, and could help them drift off to sleep.
The scent of Twilight is described as a “harmonious blend of lavender and tonka”, which promises to instil calm, while adding enticing, floral undertones, the company said.
The spray comes off the back of the Sleepy lotion and both products can be used to complement each other.
Free food bags for the homeless
A restaurant in Manchester is being praised for leaving boxes of free food out for the homeless after closing every night.
Bosu Body Bar, in Didsbury, specialises in selling healthy fast-food boxes that last up to 72 hours. After that, staff at the restaurant cannot sell the food despite a lot of it still being fresh and edible. Instead of throwing it away like most restaurants, the team at Bosu Body Bar recently started placing the food outside its doors after noticing a sharp rise in people sleeping rough.
They posted this on their Facebook: “When we close the doors for the day, we promise to leave bags outside full of tasty food. If you see anyone on the streets of Manchester or Didsbury who look hungry, let them know where they can find a meal in a bag.”
And since then, their kind gesture has absolutely blown up, with thousands of people praising them for helping out vulnerable people.
“We hope that this exposure will raise awareness about just how serious the issue of homelessness is and will encourage more people to do it. We just want to show we care and give back to our community,” they added.
Josef, Oliver and Sarah, who started the healthy fast food restaurant with only £15,000 as university graduates, have managed to grow the business from nothing to a turnover of almost £1.5million this year.
A visitor to a Chinese zoo ended up in a tug-of-war with some monkeys that grabbed onto her phone while she was snapping selfies.
A video filmed at the Hainan Tropical Garden of Wild Fauna and Flora in Haikou, Hainan Province, shows the woman attempting to pull her phone free from the hands of monkeys that grabbed onto the device.
Witnesses said the monkeys grabbed the phone while the visitor was snapping selfies with the simians.
The woman was eventually able to pull her phone free from the monkeys’ grasp.
So if you happened to visit any zoo, make sure you are at a safe distance from these naughty animals.
