SIALKOT: The district administration has placed cameras in eight buses providing pick and drop service to the students enrolled with special education centres in Sialkot district.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Farrukh Naveed told reporters on Wednesday the cameras would help schools and parents watch the live scenes of the buses.
The measure was taken after a video depicting the beating of children with special needs by the bus staff of the Government Special Education Centre of Sambrial went viral.
LAND RECORD: The land revenue record of Sialkot district’s 1,411 villages, of 1,580, has been digitised.
DC Dr Naveed told reporters the land revenue record of the remaining 169 villages would also be computerised soon.
