KARACHI, Aug 28: The Forum for Democracy on Thursday urged democratic forces, specially supporters of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy, to lead the people in their struggle for democracy.

The Forum, which adopted a resolution in its meeting held here, stressed the need for initiating a country-wide protest campaign, adding that it was necessary at this pint in time as timing was of primary importance in politics.

Earlier, Siraj Osmani, Nawaz Butt, Nadeem Akhtar and Prof Jamal Naqvi criticized the government for raising what they termed non-issues.
