HYDERABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional MPA Nusrat Sehar Abbasi has said that general elections should be held on time and all decisions of courts should be respected.

Talking to journalists after attending a programme here on Monday, Ms Abbasi said that Pakistan Peoples Party had been converted into ‘Zardari League’. All ministers of Sindh government had increased their assets by three times and all MPAs of PPP who had ruined Sindh by plundering its resources had been “branded” by National Accountability Bureau, she said.

She said in answer to a question that general elections should be held on time and all should respect courts’ decisions and judiciary to strengthen institutions.

She termed the demand for a separate province in Sindh by Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leaders a daydream like the dreams of Sindh minister Manzoor Wassan. Those who talked about bifurcation of Sindh had themselves split into various factions, she said.

Ms Abbasi said that all component parties of the Grand Democratic Alliance would participate in the alliance’s public meeting in Sukkur on Nov 26.

She said the PML-F, which had become the “number one” political party of Sindh, was making efforts to strengthen the alliance by bringing other likeminded political parties into its fold.
