KARACHI: The two-day all-Sindh Allama Iqbal boxing tournament gets into action at the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Community Hall, Faqir Colony, Orangi Town, on Thursday with 64 pugilists from across the province competing for hnours.

According to an announcement, the boxers will compete in eight weight categories of under-14 and under-16 – 34 kg, 36 kg, 38 kg, 40 kg, 42 kg, 44 kg, 46 kg and 48 kg.

Besides three outfits of Karachi namely Greens, Whites and Yellows, boxers belonging to Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Benazirabad, Larkana and Sukkur will compete in the event.

The event is being organised by the Sindh Boxing Association in collaboration with the Sindh sports department.
