LAHORE: The national championship of the 13th Dawn In Education Spelling Bee Competition is going to be held today (Tuesday) at the Ali Institute of Education, says a press release.

Thirty regional winners from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners-up would be competing amongst each other for the national titles in the 9-11, 12-14 and 15-17 age groups.

As part of its Dawn in Education programme the National Spelling Bee features participation from Pakistan’s best students, who face off in an exciting and entertaining competition, starting in September 2017 with a series of elimination rounds and culminating in the grand finale on Nov 14.

This year over 7,000 students from 800 of the most competitive schools across Pakistan have competed in the pool rounds, which were held in Skardu, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
