KARACHI: The University of Karachi has improved its ranking and landed at 193rd position among the top-ranking universities of Asia.
According to the latest figures issued about rankings of the Asian universities, Karachi University has significantly improved and secured 193th position.
KU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan expressed his satisfaction over this achievement and congratulated the KU faculty in this regard, says a press release issued here.
The KU jumped from 251st position to 193 spot in one year.
The KU vice chancellor said that it was a proof that his efforts were going in the positive direction.
He added that he had promised in his inaugural speech that he would work on improving the KU ranking in the world and now his efforts were evident from these results.
“With the support of faculty members and administration, we will make significant improvement in the world ranking,” the statement said quoting the KU vice chancellor as saying.
