Don’t judge hastily

This is with reference to the story “Don’t judge hastily” by Nida Jamal (YW, September 30).

The story was amazing and gave a good suggestion to everyone to stop judging others for their looks.

It is very common that students pass judgment about their teachers, which is wrong. Teachers deserve respect and love, and passing a judgement shows.

Screens are damaging our eyes

This is with reference to the article “Screens are damaging our eyes” by Ambreen Kashif (YW, September 30). The writer did a great job of spreading awareness about the excessive time we spend looking at different screens and its side effects.

It is quite common to see kids having poor eyesight because of watching TV and other screens excessively. Kids should keep in mind that no matter how tempting a programme, video or website is, spending too much time looking at these will only damage their eyesight.

A teacher

A good teacher is he who always encourages his student to face failure and remain positive. This boosts the confidence of students and they realise their potential and aptitude to do things by trying repeatedly.

I am lucky to have such a teacher, who always encourages his students and educates them positively.

Inspiring minds

This is with reference to “Inspiring minds” by Maria Moten (YW, September 30). The article refers to the most essential quality of teachers, which is to inspire their students’ minds.

A teacher is not merely a ‘teacher’, he/she is a guide, because a teacher grooms a child and shows him the right path towards a successful life and career.

While teachers can be strict in their rules and principles, it doesn’t mean we start judging and criticising them. Always respect and value your teachers.

Young World

I have been reading YW since the last three years and I wait eagerly for Saturdays to read my favourite magazine.

I prefer reading stories and experiences because they are more interesting and have moral lessons.

The Young World will surely stand the test of time. I would also like to suggest to the YW team to cut down all redundant stuff like advertisements. I hope to see more interesting article in YW in the future.
