You didn’t know that chicken patties can easily be made at home? Oh yes they can, and you can make them too!

Now that you have polished up your cooking skills with some nice and easy recipes that we have been sharing here and which you could make on your own, it is time to get bolder in the kitchen. Here you will need the help of an adult to place the patties in the oven and take them out, but the rest of the steps are easy for you to do on your own.

Have you ever made a roti or used a rolling pin? Even if you haven’t, it isn’t a problem as here you’ll have to roll the puff pastry dough without bothering about getting a perfect round roti! And the puff pastry is available at most good supermarkets and bakeries.

Homemade chicken patties are very easy to assemble and make; and they take only three ingredients and turns out super yummy each time.

Ingredients:

• 1 packet readymade puff pastry

• 1 cup cooked chicken or chicken tikka chunks

• Ketchup or chilli garlic sauce

Method

Cut puff pastry into palm size chunks and roll till about half-inch thick. Take any round jar cap or cup and cut out circles. Keep aside the cut shapes and make a ball of the remaining dough and roll again and cut until all the dough is used.

Spread some ketchup on one side of the round shapes you have cut, place about a tablespoon of chicken in the centre and place another round dough on top.

With a fork, gently press the corners and place in a baking tray, keeping some distance between each. Cook on 180 degrees centigrade for about 15 minutes, or more if the top is not golden. Take out and leave for a couple of minutes before transferring on to a place and eating it.

It’s as simple as this!
