Balochistan PSC

THERE is a need for adopting measures to end corruption at the Balochistan Public Service Commission in Quetta. This institute conducts tests on a regular basis for various vacant posts and thus it generates a huge revenue by charging high fee from the unemployed youth of the province.

Some suggestions are given in order that the BPSC’s examination system, as well as its selection of candidates, might be made on merit:

First, the test may be conducted online. For this, the BPSC must fully equip the already available examination halls at and keep on building more well-equipped examination halls.

Second, the commission should call for an interview only those candidates who have any chance of being selected. Thus, interviews of five to seven successful candidates of the same zone on the pattern of the quiz competition arranged in various TV programmes of two or three rounds, should be held and record the interviews and the score of every round should be displayed at the end of the round on the screen.

Also, no one should be allowed to go to the washroom as many candidates use mobile phones for help.

If an online test s not possible immediately, then the results of the written test and the marks obtained should be pasted on the noticeboard before the interview or should be sent to candidates through SMS
