MANSEHRA: Three members of a tourist family from Azad Kashmir were killed and three others sustained critical injuries when their car plunged into Kunhar River near Balakot on Sunday.

The car carrying the family was on way back to AJK from Kaghan valley, but it skidded of the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road and fell into the river after the driver lost control over the wheel.

The injured were taken to civil hospital in Balakot, wherefrom they were referred to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.

According to doctors, one of the injured who was in critical condition, was shifted to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.

Those died in the accident were identified as Mohammad Saghar and Asad Kiani, while identity of the third person was yet to be established.

Balakot police after lodging FIR started further investigations.
