KARACHI: Syed Oanuddin, Hashish Kumer, Amin Shafi and Zubair Raja scored victories over their opponents in the under-18 boys event while Nouman Aftab cruised past Asim Gul in the under-16 quarter-finals in the 5th Indus Pharma National Seniors & Juniors Tennis Championship 2017 being played at Karachi Gymkhana here on Sunday.

U-18 singles (1st round): Syed Oanuddin bt Mujahidullah Khattak 6-1, 6-1; M Dada bt Parbat Kumer—walkover; Zubair Raja bt Hadin Bhatti 6-0, 6-1; Hashish Kumer bt Mazhar Hayat 6-1, 6-3; Amin Shafi bt Abdul Haseem 6-1, 6-1.

U-16 singles (quarter-finals): Nouman Aftab bt Asim Gul 6-1, 6-1.

U-16 singles (1st round): M Hadin bt Mustafa Majeed 6-3, 6-0.

Girls under-14 (semi-final): Varsha Das bt Malika Malik 8-1.

U-10 singles (quarter-final): Abdullah Imran bt Sameer 8-1.

U-10 singles: (semi-final): Abdullah Aftab bt Ibrahim Asim 8-1.

U-12 singles (1st Round): Ashar Mir bt Abdullah Aftab 8-1; Hassan Jamal bt M Abad 10-8; Zain Ali bt Asher Siddiqui 8-1; Zain Ehtisham bt Rayyan Ahmed 8-1; Mahatir Mohd bt Taha Aman 8-4.
