KARACHI: Noor-e-Mustafa, Danish Ramzan, Aqeel Shabbir, Murad Khan beat their respective rivals in the mens tennis event while Ayesha Kamal, Zoha Asim, Hania Naveed and Apsara won their respective matches in the women’s event at the 4th Pizza Hut Karachi Games 2017 tennis event held at the Union Club on Saturday.

Men’s event: Noor-e-Mustafa (South) beat Hashish Kumar (East) 6-4, 6-1; Danish Ramzan (South) beat Yahya (East) 6-2,6-3; Mahatir-Hasnain pair (South) beat Saad Ahmed-Arham pair (East) 8-6; Aqeel Shabbir (Central) beat Usama Saeed (West) 6-0,6-2; Murad Khan (Central) beat Sohaib (West) 6-0, 6-1; Eibad Sarwar-Abid pair (Central) beat Haris-Hasan pair (West) 8-0.

Ladies event: South vs West: Ayesha Kamal beat Varisha Khan 8-0; Zoha Asim beat Sehar Saleem 8-1; East vs Central: Apsara beat Azeema 8-2; Hania Naveed beat Eraj Batool 8-2; Doubles: Sonia-Tehreem pair beat Elia-Ayesha pair 8-0; Eshmal-Sabrina pair beat Mehreen-Farah pair 8-3.

East vs West (ladies final):

Hania Naveed beat Varisha Khan 8-0; Apsara beat Elia Nausheen 8-4.
