Quetta-Karachi road

Published September 13, 2017

THIS refers to the highway which connects Quetta to Karachi. Road accidents are common on this highway. Every year several precious lives are lost owing to reckless driving by coach drivers and other overspeeding vehicles.

Passengers are compelled to travel in such life-threatening transport as there is no alternative. It is painful to observe that the highway authorities and the Balochistan government have turned a deaf ear on this issue.

Strict action should be taken against those who are responsible for road accidents.
