KARACHI: During a visit to areas along the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, Commander of the Rawalpindi Corps Lt Gen Nadeem Raza praised the morale of army’s officers and jawans posted there, according to a press release of the Inter-Services Public Relations.

He particularly praised the personnel for the effective manner in which they responded to ceasefire violations carried out by Indian forces in the Battal and Dawarandi sectors.

Referring to what he called self-defeating Indian claims about “surgical strikes” in Azad Kashmir, Lt Gen Raza reiterated the corps’ resolve to respond aggressively and effectively to any Indian miscalculation or misadventure along LoC, said the press release.
