KARACHI, Aug 18: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has directed the authorities concerned to take strict action against criminals and terrorists without any discrimination and succumbing to any influence.

He was presiding over a meeting, held to review the law and order situation in the province, at Governor House on Monday. He made it clear that the government would not compromise on the measures for security of life and property of the masses.

The governor stressed on effective co-ordination among the intelligence agencies for identification and arrest of criminals and terrorists. He directed for strict action against the elements involved in illegal activities.

Dr Ibad said that this impression must be dispelled that an arrested person, inspite of his involvement in crime, could be released under any influence.

While taking serious notice of the recent terrorist acts in the province, the governor urged the authorities to take effective and result oriented steps for the early arrest of the culprits.
