LAHORE: Following the recommendations of the 18th academic council’s meeting, the syndicate of the Govt College University (GCU), in its 55th meeting, has approved the proposal for the establishment of Department of Punjabi Language and Literature under the GCU Ordinance 2002.
According to a notification, the syndicate has further sought that postgraduate academic programmes should be offered by the department after fulfilling all the formalities and the conditions of the Higher Education Commission.
