FOR the last few months street crimes have been rampant in Karachi. Apart from snatching cellphones, a common practice in most parts of the city, other valuable such as gold and cash are also snatched by street ruffians. Car thefts are on their peak.
The chief minister, the home minister and the Inspector-General of Police should take strict measures to curb street crimes.
