Hari Hari Chooriyan | Geo TV, Tuesday 8pm
On Tuesday nights two different channels are grappling for the 8pm primetime slot with two different serials that so far have similar storylines.
Directed by Syed Atif Hussain and written by Jahanzaib Qamar, Hari Hari Chooriyan (HHC) seems to compete with Teri Raza on ARY Digital (details below). Flick over or flick back and you can see Aiman Khan (or Sanam Baloch) playing a young girl trapped (due to insane family pressure) in a marriage with an older man (Hassan Ahmed or Sarmad Khoosat, take your pick), leaving broken-hearted beaus (Shehroz Sabzwari and Wahaj Ali) behind.
All eyes are on Aiman Khan who plays the lead in HHC to see if she can surpass her performance as the evil Farah (who we sincerely hated) in the recently-concluded Zindaan, or if she can get anywhere near Sanam Baloch’s histrionics.
Teri Raza | ARY Digital, Tuesday 8pm
Teri Raza picks up pace and Sanam Baloch kicks up a storm as Sohana, tackling her role with a tenacity that she has always been praised for. The OST by Ali Sethi accentuates the mood for the emotional drama as Sohana thwarts all reconciliation attempts by her college-crush Rameez (Shehroz Sabzwari), and adjusts to her older and fixed-in-his-habits Imtiaz (Sarmad Khoosat), realising that life isn’t as simple as she thought it might be.

Naagin Season 2 | Filmazia
With some good locally-produced drama serials as well as a variety of dubbed foreign content is available, surprisingly our audiences actually have a taste and an appetite not just for for Ekta Kapoor’s saas-bahu battlefronts but supernatural/fantasy stuff too.
After the success of Naagin, Filmazia launches Naagin 2, a sequel with Karanvir Bohra and Mouni Roy as the main cast. Two female snakes are out to avenge their parents’ murder in this fantasy-revenge-love saga of India’s most popular fantasy character, the ichchadhari naagin or a shape-shifting snake woman. The day she falls in love with a human she will lose her powers. Billed as the housewife’s Twilight Zone, it is not recommended for ophidiophobics or anyone who can’t stand creepy crawlies.
