Essa Lab tennis begins today

KARACHI: The sixth edition of PTF Grade-I Essa Lab Open National Junior and Seniors Tournament begins on Saturday here at the Karachi Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

Organizers Sindh Tennis Association (STA) has received nearly 450 entries for different events. Many players are expected to travel to Karachi from Islamabad, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad and Jamshoro to feature in this tournament along with the local players.

Zubair Raja is the top seed in the Junior U-18 event while Amin Shafi is favourite in the U-16 singles. Hania Naveed is favorite for the Girls U-18 event.

Abdul Samad Arejo is the top seed in U-14 singles event while Abu Bakr Talha is the top seed in U-10 singles event.
