TAXILA: An assistant education officer (AEO) of Attock was suspended from service besides facing departmental inquiry for allegedly harassing female teacher.

The assistant education officer was involved in harassing a female teacher of Govt Girls School Sheenbagh.

Besides notifying his suspension, Chief Executive Officer, Education, Abdul Shakoor Anjum also ordered an inquiry under Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act.

In his complaint, the father of the teacher has provided all evidence of the harassment including text messages and emails, which the accused used to send to his daughter.

An inquiry committee has been constituted which will to submit its comprehensive report in sixty days.
