CHARSADDA: Four people, including two brothers, were killed in separate incidents here on Thursday.

According to a police report, two men gunned down their brother and sister-in-law over a petty domestic dispute in Gharibabad Dhab area. The woman told police in injured condition that she along with her husband Wakeel Shah was sitting in their house when her two in-laws Mehraban Shah and Gohar Shah entered and opened indiscriminate fire on them.

As a result, Wakeel Shah died on the spot while she suffered serious injuries. Afterwards, she too succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

The Charsadda city police have arrested Mahraban Shah, while Gohar Shah managed to escape. A case has been registered against them.

In another incident, two brothers Ahmed Zeb and Khan Zeb were killed after a brawl over children. Alama Zeb, a resident of Monikhel, told Sardheri police that Osman and Shaha Sawar, sons of Aurangzeb, and Arshad and Gohar, sons of Sher Ali, opened fire on his brothers and killed them on the spot.

He said that the cause of the incident was a brawl over children. The police have registered the case.
