Importance of education

I would like to suggest to all my dearest brothers and sisters as well as the government, that education should be given more importance than any other thing because it is a powerful tool which can change a country’s destiny.

As it is rightly said by Malcolm X: “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare it for today.”

Education is important for every child because it prepares them to face most of the challenges faced in life. It gives the knowledge of right and wrong, and teaches how to speak up for one’s rights too.

Furthermore, it is the responsibility of parents to provide their kids with education and don’t let them skip school. These kids are the future of this nation; some will become scientists, some will become astronauts, while other will bring home the Nobel Prize — so never deprive a child from his or her right of education.

A talented boy

This is with reference to the story “A talented boy” by Faizan Wasim (YW, June 17). I liked this story very much as the boy in the story was really confident and it is a fact that if a person who is not highly skilled is confident, then he can achieve success. But if a person who is skilled but too timid, he can fail because he is not confident about himself. I request YW to continue publishing stories like this.

Thank you Young World

The “Word search” published in this magazine is an amazing game for me. I always find all the words in grid. It really increases my vocabulary and also my observation.

When I am searching the words, I have to focus on the spelling and this helps me to remember the spelling of the words automatically. There is no need of extra hard work to learn the words.

And “Spot the difference” is an absolutely intellectual segment that compels one to think.

That’s why it increases my mental and imaginative power too and “Quiz” too is another informative section. In fact, all regular sections of YW are unique and informative, such as “Art corner”, “Poet’s corner”, “Jokes”, “Quotes” and others.

I would like to say thanks to the team of YW that they have made this magazine very informative. Thank you so much.
