PESHAWAR: The National Junior Age Group Squash Championship began at the PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Wednesday.

KP Sports director general Junaid Khan inaugurated the event by hitting a shot alongside former world championship Qamar Zaman.

A total of 80 players are taking part in boys’ under-11, U-13, U-15 and U-17, and girls’ U-15 competitions.

Results:

Under-13: M. Ahmad bt Hussain Ali 11-5, 11-6, 11-6; M. Khan bt Qadeer 3-0; Usman Nadeem bt Abu Zar Imtiaz 3-0; Huzaifa Zahid bt Abdul Muqeem 3-0; Hamza bt Talha bin Zubair 3-0; Sheraz Akhbar bt Yasin Khattak 3-0; Mutahir bt Afnan 3-0; Fahad Sharif bt Azlan Khawar 3-0.

Under-15: Noor Zaman bt Talha Iqbal 11-6, 11-9, 10-12, 12-10.
