QUETTA: Some unidentified men shot dead two people in Ziarat on Sunday.

Levies officials said that the assailants opened fire, killing Abdul Salam and Dulat Khan.

“Both victims died on the spot after suffering multiple bullet injuries,” the officials said.

They said that the armed men escaped from the scene after the incident.

The bodies were taken to the district hospital.

The officials said that an enmity appeared to be the motive behind the killing.

Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat Muhammad Afzal Khosti ordered police and Levies personnel to start strict checking at all checkpoints besides snap checking to ensure immediate arrest of the killers.
