Younis Khan has announced that he will donate the cash reward of Rs10 million that he received from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Edhi Foundation and two other organisations.
"I am thankful to the prime minister for the cash reward; I will donate it to Edhi Foundation, Indus Hospital and The Citizens Foundation," Khan said in a self-recorded video on Thursday.
He requested tax exemption on the donation "so that the amount could help as many people in need as possible".
Earlier this week, at a ceremony held by the PM to celebrate the victory of the cricket team at the Champions Trophy 2017, a cash reward of Rs10 million was announced for the players of the winning team as well as chief selector Inzamamul Haq.
Bowling coach Azhar Mahmood was given Rs5 million and team manager Talat Ali was given Rs2.5 million, while other PCB officials, such as media manager, social media manager, in-charge tour operations and cricket analyst, were given Rs2.5 million each.
Members of the selection team were also awarded Rs1 million each, while head coach Michael Arthur, fielding coach Grant Trafford Luden and batting coach Grant Flower were also given Rs5 million each.

Well done you are not hero you are supper hero. you will be rewarded much more than you have donated. The sprit of giving away for noble cause should also penetrate in our hero's which will make them ideal for our younger generation. Your religion teaches you and very few learn these lessons. I will suggest that all other should follow your example and donate some thing according to your capacity to noble causes which ever they feel appropriate. We should establish our own society depended on our own people to take care of our needy sister/brother/elders.

In the first place, why was Younis Khan given 10 million when he had retired before the Champions Trophy ?
None is raising this question. Even payment of 10 million to each cricketer and and hefty amounts to the management is highly objectionable and questionable.
