KARACHI: Pugilists of the Boxing Club of Pakistan Karachi East annexed the two-day Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Youth Boxing Championship which concluded at the Muslim Azad Club, Kakri Ground on Thursday.

The champions fetched four golds and as many silver medals to win top honours.

Zahid Shaheed Boxing Club grabbed two golds and a silver to finish runners-up.

Pak National club seized third position with a gold and a silver medal followed by Mauripur National club who finished with one gold.

Final results:

49 kg: Sajid Rasheed bt Shahbaz 3-0.

52 kg: Naimatullah bt Jami Kacchi 2-1.

56 kg: Obaid bt Bilal 2-1.

60 kg: Ahmed bt Ismail 2-1.

64 kg: Wasif Raza bt Shahzad Rana 3-0.

69 kg: Sufyan bt Azher Ali 2-1.

75 kg: Ehsanullah bt Ismail Khan 2-1.

81 kg: Jalil Ahmed bt Shahid 3-0.

Wednesday’s results:

Semi-finals:

49 kg: Shahbaz bt Jawaid 3-0; Sajid Rasheed bt Asad 2-1.

52 kg: Obaid bt Bilal 2-1; Ismail bt Azher Ali 3-0.

56 kg: Wasif Raza bt Najat Ali 2-1; Shahzad Rana bt Jehanzeb 3-0.

60 kg: Sufyan bt Farid 2-1; Mohammad Ismail bt Owais 3-0.

64 kg: Irfanullah bt Baseer 2-1; Azher Ali bt Mohammad Owais 3-0.

69 kg: Shahid bt Nabeel 3-0.

75 kg: Ismail Khan bt Wajid Ali 2-1.

81 kg: Jalil Ahmed bt Mohammad Ameer 2-1.
