LARKANA: A man and a woman were killed and another woman was injured when the motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a tractor near Dhoon Lashari village, some 20km from here on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Razzak Phulpoto and his close relative, Panjal Khatoon. His other close relative injured in the accident was identified as Zebun Nissa at the Chandka Medical College Hospital, where she was admitted for treatment.

Mirokhan police said the tractor and its driver were detained.

They said that the victims were residents of Therhi town of Khairpur district and were travelling to Dhoon Lashari village to meet their relatives.
