With so much free time at hand, you can engage yourself in some random fun; from playing to watching movies; to meeting friends and going on vacation.

But if you have already done these things, why not listen to music for a while? Yes, music is the food for the soul, and therefore, we will explore a site that will not only relax your mind through music but will also take you to the world of musicians/singers and artists/tracks, according to your choice, at www.musicroamer.com — a website full of music and musicians.

The site is actually a music search/recommendation engine and it comes in handy if you are looking for any artist/singer and their music ‘similar’ to the one you already like. For instance, just put in the name of your favourite artist, the site shows the artist and similar artists arranged as nodes. You will see the artist you searched at the centre and his/her tracks at the right side while the nodes will be the recommendations, i.e., artists with similar work.

If you click any other artist on the nodes, you will be provided with options ‘to listen, to buy, more similar artists’ and his/her track list (30 secs stream time). By clicking the recommended artist, you will again have similar music artist shown in the nodes, so that way you will be provided with lots of similar stuff of your choice.

The good thing about musicroamer is that you can also search Pakistani artists; for instance, my search of Shehzad Roy showed me similar artists and their work like Ali Haider, Ali Zafar, Najam Sheraz, Haroon, etc. and Shehzad Roy’s top tracks at the right side.

The site is clean and free of ads, so there are no distractions. You can easily explore similar music or artist of your choice.
