LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry says ex-FIA director Inamur Rehman has revealed that some Rs8 billion were squandered as commission in the motorway project in 1990 by raising the project cost from Rs8.5bn to Rs22bn.

Speaking at a news conference here on Sunday, he said it was the time the PML-N government’s all corruption cases including metro bus, yellow cab and Daanish school scandals be exposed in the court of people.

He said the prime minister and his cronies were trying to create hurdles in the working of the JIT.
