HYDERABAD, Aug 6: Various political parties and social welfare organizations of Qasimabad, at a meeting held here on Tuesday, formed an alliance for development of the taluka.

The development plan of the alliance would include construction of roads, parks, green belts and improvement of the drainage system.

The meeting criticized the health department for not providing medical facilities to the people of Qasimabad during rains. It demanded the government to announce a package of Rs1 billion for the taluka.

It resolved to launch a struggle for regularization of 52 villages of Qasimabad and kutcha abadis. It constituted an 11-member coordination committee.—Bureau
